 Wholesale and Retail SETA Education and Training Quality Assurer:

Job Summary:

To provide a professional and specialist service with regards to the accreditation of providers, assessors, moderators and/or verifiers for the Wholesale and Retail Sector within the KZN Region.

Duties and Responsibilities: will include but not be limited to:

 Facilitating all accreditation activities within the region.

 Accrediting education and training providers.

 Monitoring of accredited training providers.

 Providing support and development assistance to the accredited providers i.e.,
providing capacitation

 Facilitating of ETD audits with constituent providers

 Registering assessors and moderators.

 Capacitating stakeholders on quality assurance matters.

 Facilitating moderation of assessments

 Compiling reports on quality assurance trends and developments within the Wholesale and Retail Sector

 Verification of uploads – ETQA Approvals

 Implementing MoUs with other SETAs, ETQA divisions.

 Participating in the planning of regional activities.

Managing relevant projects as and when required. Managing RPL Pilot Project.

 Fully complying with the relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures.

Capacity building all FET Colleges in KZN on Programme Development.

Evaluating tender applications for Discretionary Grant funding 2011/2012 funding windows.
